Directions
Measure around your dog's chest, just behind the front legs.
STEP 1
You'll need a soft tape measure in order to get an accurate size. Please ensure your dog is standing up straight on all fours and looking forward.
STEP 2
Take a measurement around the widest part of your dogs chest. This is usually just behind their front legs. Make sure the measuring tape is snug, but not too tight.
TOP TIP
Our coat lengths fit 99% of Dachshunds but check the length to make sure you're not that 1%... Measure from the bottom of the neck to the top of the tail.

Sizing FAQs
Yes. Our products are specially designed to fit the Dachshund body shape. standard Dachshunds should fit between sizes 5-7.
Make sure to double-check your measurements. A dachshund’s length should generally not be longer than the chest measurement. If you find your dog does not fit any of our standard sizes, pick the closest size and add your measurements in the checkout comments field. We will custom fit the Harness or coat to your dog.
No. Our measurements are standard across all of our harnesses, fleeces and coats. You don’t need to measure the length for our Harnesses.
