We have the waterproof harness in black with the reflective silver back panel which is amazing! It keeps my boy really dry on wet and stormy days but is versatile and easy to put on for a cooler evening walk too and I know he can still be seen and safe!
Michela was extremely patient with me while I decided on the colour combination I wanted and was able to advise on sizing once I provided measurements.
I love that the harness coats are so functional, so stylish and practical! Can be wiped clean or put through the wash. It is robust and fits so well as designed for dachshunds! Will definitely be a repeat customer (…and already have been!!)

I recently ordered two padded coats for my boys the fit and quality is superior there is nothing like this out there the coat is a harness so it’s just one item to put on and just been out in the rain and they are both bone dry. Couldn’t recommend them enough. Worth the money.
I’ve hated every single harness that I’ve ever bought for her. They never fit her right and most importantly she HATED moving in harnesses… except this one!
Michela, however, is an absolute magician – ordered a harness and padded harness coat for the winter and they have both been a game changer. Not only are they the highest of quality, beautiful AND practical, Peach actually moves so well in them. The harnesses hug her perfectly and aren’t clunky or loose like the others. Additionally, the harness coat is warm, well made and such a good idea to have the harness integrated into the piece with the same great fit and structure.
Top it all off? Bespoke Pink colour just for us. Will definitely we purchasing from Michela for years to come. 100/10. Couldn’t recommend more!

Searched the internet for a while looking for a well fitting coat for my mini dachshund, couldn’t find anything that looked as good as the wonder coat. WonderCoat as a Brand is apt for its intended purpose. Probably the BEST Dachshund apparel in the market. Archie with his weird and wonderful proportions has a wardrobe full of not perfect fitting apparel until now. Michela is handsdown dedicated, commited and knowledgable about her products. Quality, workmanship and service is second to none. Impeccable and faultless. We had the VIP delivery service courtesy of Stella and Daxie. It’s these little tnts that make supporting a good local business so satisfying and rewarding. Added to this, you can customise your coat as you choose. I went through various different fabric samples etc… You can be as creative as you wish (within reason!) 72 hours in, the harness coat is now now moulded perfectly to Archie’s svelte frame. An absolute game changer. Archie’s humans (other than myself) struggle to dress him and are all delighted that getting him ready for wet and mudd walks is no longer a battle! AND, cleaning the coat has never been easier with its entirely waterproof material; a quick wipe down with a damp sponge or cloth and you’re ready for the next walk! We’ve already placed another order. The only one stop shop for us now. We need not go anywhere else. Thank you Michela!
I cannot recommend Wondercoat enough, it’s such a lovely brand and product for dachshunds. I use the harness product and it’s stylish, functional and high quality. It fits my standard wiredhaired dachshund perfectly, which I’ve struggled to find in other products.
I also love that she doesn’t need to wear a collar as well as her harness, with the additional name tag, she’s set to go with just one item!
Aside from the product itself, Michela and Team are just so lovely. The customer service is 5 star and some. It’s a pleasure purchasing from them, which I will continue to do so.
I can only echo the previous references. My daughters 2 dachshunds, after numerous attempts to find something suitable, now have perfectly fitting matching collars, coats and leads, 2 very smart girls.

The only place to go for your Dachshund’s coats! I bought two harness coats for my dogs Dillion and Billy and Michela was so helpful over FaceTime to make sure Billy’s coat was a perfect fit and sent me a new coat tailored to his size as his chest was a bit deeper than Dillon’s. Extremely good quality material, ready to take a beating from both my Dachshunds that love the outdoors in the country. Worth every penny, some might think expensive but buy cheap and buy twice or at least six times which I have done in the past with other coats! It has been so hard trying to find a coat that keeps them warm and dry without rubbing or getting completely soaked. If I had found Wondercoat earlier, I could have saved a lot of money and time wasted!! What I love the most though is the service from Michela which is ongoing so I have peace of mind that if anything needs repairing or adjusting in the future, I can contact Michela and she is there for my doggies!! The coats themselves are extremely durable and waterproof but the best bit I find is that they dry so easily after a muddy walk. Just rinse them off and hang them and they are dry by lunchtime which is a game changer. Most Dachshund owners know you have to have a least 3 coats as they take so long to dry before their next walk! My advice would be to make sure you do them up super tight to keep the grit from their bellies/armpits and also note that once they have been worn a couple of times there aren’t as stiff and become a little bigger. I bought the black one for Dillon and the silver one (very reflective!) for Billy and they both look like super sleuths on a mission impossible! Thanks so much Michela, Dillon and Billy now have their very own personal tailor!!
We bought two harness coats for Mabel.
We opted for custom made designs and tags, the pink/ green dodo and a floral design. We waited for Mabel to grow to her fullest prior to ordering.
They are both superb and exquisite quality with the dodo harness that comes with a waterproof lining for the underbelly for rainy weather, a design well thought of. Both so beautiful and pretty!
They not only support Mabel’s body but also very safe and very secure and the name tags are discreet incorporated attached to the loop of the harnesss. They are both easy to put on and take off.
We are so pleased with the swift service and Michela and the team. Wondercoat have been so helpful and keeping in touch with progression of the making of the harnesses. There are so many other bespoke designs to choose from.
We will sure be ordering another one in the very near future! Mabel ( miniature dachshund) so far is happy in her new harnesses. Comfort is important and these are by far the best secure harnesses for little dogs like Mabel.

We chose the Harness coat. Wondercoat gear is clearly designed specifically for Dachshunds with amazing attention to detail, great design and outstanding quality of manufacture. Reviews on here reveal that the Wondercoat team can also dress other breeds just as well as they dress our sausages. Beautifully packaged and it arrived really quickly. Absolutely outstanding customer service – our every question was handled promptly, with great knowledge of the breed and with humour. This is clearly a passion project – highly recommended.
