I am delighted to say that I bought 3 pieces (two harnesses and a coat) and to no fault of Wondercoat they had to be re-sized (my dachshund Wren is very long and his features well…is a dachshund!) but I have just received them and they fit like a glove. Wren is so comfortable with them she was happy to keep the harness on. Beautifully done! So much quality and style.
I have to say Michela is a true talented Taylor! Have not seen many people to be able to make a fit for purpose piece just by seeing a photograph!

The harness for my sausage arrived today and it has exceeded all of my expectations.
I have had countless harnesses for my sausage and all of them have caused rubbing to the point of him getting sores.
Michela has been absolutely fantastic and listened to the problems I have been having with previous harnesses and came up with a number of ideas.
The harness fits like a glove and looks amazing.

Just to say how pleased we are with Pascoe’s new harness. He moves so freely in it, it is so well made and strong and the ventilation of the mesh fabric is just brilliant for when he goes in the sea as it dries out almost straightaway afterwards.
Having had dachshunds for 42 years and numerous harnesses which have never really been very satisfactory for a variety of reasons we have at last found the perfect design! The four key features of a step-in harness (rather than over the head), measurements to fit the particular dog, a well ventilated fabric and an ultra strong Velcro fastening make a first class product for dachshunds. Oh, and it looks good too!
Expensive but worth every penny for the design and the quality.

The best Harness I have ever brought, my standard dachshund weighs 14 kg and I went for the size 6, grey Velcro fastening, he is recovering form spinal surgery and needed something that didn’t rub his scar, this was perfect.
So helpful and patient with advice and generally cares about each dog. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed 🥰

I ordered a new harness from a different company which took nearly 4 weeks to arrive. When I put it on Dora it rubbed her, so I was in a panic to get a more suitable one at short notice as we are due to leave for a 4 week road trip in a few days. I messaged Michela with my problem and she immediately dispatched a lovely harness, it arrived within 24 hours of my conversation with her!
Such amazing customer service is very hard to find these days.
The harness is simple in design but cut beautifully to fit the unusual dachshund shape. It is very easy to take on and off, and although I haven’t done this yet I would imagine that it will wash and dry easily and quickly should Dora go exploring in the mud!

After researching and trying various harnesses, we were frustrated by what’s out there for dachshunds. When I came across Wondercoat, I couldn’t believe the quality of this beautiful harness. It is worth every penny. It fits Neo’s body shape like a glove and he can easily move around it without the rubbing and discomfort that other harnesses caused him. We got the matching lead (which is just as impressive quality as the harness) and constantly get compliments about how smart he looks in his harness.
Wondercoat goes above and beyond to answer questions and support you on the purchase, as well as after the purchase! Even the postcard and dog biscuit is a thoughtful touch. If only every company out there was a bit like Wondercoat. We wish we had found Wondercoat earlier!

What can I say, absolutely amazing service from start to finish of getting just the right size for our dachshund. She was the one neither sizes fitted but Michela ended up designing her a bespoke harness and so pleased with the results. The time and effort to get it just right was amazing. Wondercoat make some beautiful harnesses in bespoke one-off fabrics. Nothing is too much trouble for them and after discussions with Michaela, I selected a gorgeous olive harness and matching bag. Besides the flexibility on the fabric choice, Michaela was also able to make some adjustments to the cut of the harness to ensure the fit was absolutely perfect on Mr Darcy.
I was super impressed by the quality, clever design and detailing on all their pieces. Would highly recommend the harness for other doodle breeds (they aren’t just for sausage dogs!) as Michaela pays meticulous attention to the fit.

I really struggled to find a high street harness that fit my puppy properly. They were either too big, too small, the wrong proportions, or they rubbed behind his front legs. I came across wonder coat on Instagram and have never looked back; they’re the only harness I’ll buy for him now. He started on size 1, and has already rapidly grown into a size 2.
I’ll be getting him the entire wonder coat wardrobe when he’s fully grown.

Bobby is an awkward dog to find a comfortable harness for but this is perfect. It doesn’t rub his armpits or take 10 minutes to put on.
The packaging is a lovely touch.
Michela replied to any emails very quickly and was only too happy to help with a sizing and fitting issue.
Don’t waste time on Amazon, spend the extra because it is worth it.
Recently bought the harness for my 1year old Moby after wanting to get something a little smarter & something that fitted him better that harnesses I’ve bought in the past. Well it’s amazing, looks great & is so secure. The one we initially bought was too small but Michela was fantastic with sorting a larger replacement. 100% recommend

Fantastic product and fantastic service. I had been struggling to find a harness for my 10 week old miniature dachshund and nothing out there would fit him. We were incredibly worried he would miss out on socialising at this important time as he could wriggle out of everything we had tried before.
Michela was amazing through the whole experience taking our custom measurements on board for his harness but also supplied us a smaller one to borrow just incase it didn’t fit instantly.

The only place to go for your Dachshund’s coats and harnesses! I bought two harnesses for my dogs Dillion and Billy and Michele was so helpful over FaceTime to make sure Billy’s harness was a perfect fit. Extremely good quality material, ready to take a beating from both my Dachshunds that love the outdoors in the country. Worth every penny, some might think expensive but by cheap and buy twice or at least four times which I have done! Just trying to find a harness that fits perfectly without rubbing their little elbows. If I had found Wondercoat earlier, I could have saved a lot of money and time wasted!! What I love the most though is the service from Michelle which is ongoing so I have piece of mind that if anything needs repairing or adjusting in the future, I can contact Michela and she is there for my doggies!! The harness itself is not heavy, cumbersome or restrictive and fits like a second skin. It works great in the summer with the mesh allowing air to their body. It also has a label for you to write their name on just in case you have two the same colour. I bought a black one for Dillon as she is Black and Tan and a silver one (which is super reflective!!) for Billy as he is blue and tan so didn’t need to use the name tags! They both look like super sleuths on a mission impossible!! Thanks so much Michela!! x

I have been an avid follower of Wondercoat on Instagram admiring the quality and functional apparels for dachshunds. This is a harness I have been waiting for even before I brought home a puppy.
The moment my dachshund, Bailey hits 10 months, I placed an order with Wondercoat. Lo and behold, the wonderful fairy dogmother 🧚♀️ Michela works her charm by answering all my queries and concerns. She is upfront and sincerely suggested the limited edition gold harness which she has just released as it fits the Christmas season. The colour was perfect for Bailey.
Despite some hiccups in the sizing, she was kind and thoughtful to send two additional sizes for Bailey to try on to ensure perfect fit though it means shipping to the other side of the world that is Singapore. We are also honoured to know that we are her very first customer in Singapore.
I also had a wonderful opportunity to work with her on the improvement of dog poo bag. She is an excellent listener, patient, understanding and open on customers feedback.
As a customer, you would expect magic when opening the package. It has a gigantic bone biscuit where the whiff of aroma would call your dog to come to you. In addition, it has a heartfelt handwritten message on a beautiful postcard. The whole experience from purchase to receiving the product was nothing short of pleasant.
Though they are a small business, I dare say they really put some commercial enterprises to shame. There is so much that they can emulate from Wondercoat. Michela commitment and dedication on product development is also top notch.
I have not only known Michela as a businesswoman but now, she is also my dear friend. I’ve hated every single harness that I’ve ever bought for her. They never fit her right and most importantly she HATED moving in harnesses… except this one!
Michela, however, is an absolute magician – ordered a harness and padded harness coat for the winter and they have both been a game changer. Not only are they the highest of quality, beautiful AND practical, Peach actually moves so well in them. The harnesses hug her perfectly and aren’t clunky or loose like the others. Additionally, the harness coat is warm, well made and such a good idea to have the harness integrated into the piece with the same great fit and structure.
Top it all off? Bespoke Pink colour just for us. Will definitely be purchasing from Michela for years to come. 100/10. Couldn’t recommend more!

Minnie and Pickle’s harnesses are simply perfect. They have worn only collars so far and Michela at Wondercoat is the only person I would trust to make a harness. I made the right decision! They fit like a glove and look uber cool. On top of that, Michela worked with me to create a bespoke design for my precious little weenies. I have always use a harness for my dog – Freddie a cockapoo. The style and ease of fit of the Wondercoat harness appealed to me – especially as Freddie is now 13 – so finding something that is comfortable and easy to put on was essential. This is the first harness that actually fits my Dachshund securely and correctly!
We’ve struggled in the past finding something that comfortably fits Harry’s prominent chest and we’ve tested this harness on really long walks & found no signs of rubbing.
Wondercoat harnesses are made out of a beautiful, breathable fabric which somehow manages to stay clean on the muddiest of walks!
We’ve had many compliments on the Camo colour and I’m so impressed with the product we’ve gone on to purchase two coats and a fleece wrap!

Slink has the bright orange harness and we love it! Slink is usually a collar-wearer but I wanted a harness for use during training and with his long-line and for night walks. This harness is made to measure and does not rub my boy…we have tried multiple other harnesses that have rubbed under his arms or ‘elbows’ but the wondercoat harness fits really well and is made of high quality and robust material that withstands my low riding boy’s adventures through woodland and rough-lands! I also love the orange on my boy (I am biased but he looks so handsome in his Wondercoat harness! We also have the fleece which fits over the harness and the harness coat!) This is my favourite brand so thank you so much Michela for making amazing unique and fit-for-purpose items for our uniquely shaped dachshunds 🥰
No more struggling with miserable dachshunds having harnesses pulled over their heads. This brilliant design is both dog and human friendly. Really great fit, useful reflective strips and the customer service is fantastic. The dogs have road tested rolling in 💩 and it’s amazing how something of such high quality can happily go through the washing machine countless times. Can’t recommend this product high enough.
I ordered this harness for my standard Stuart, I bought about 6 different harnesses before but they all would come off over his head and didn’t fit properly. When this harness arrived I was so pleased it fits perfect and I was able to have it customized with nervous. It’s honestly the best dog related product I’ve ever bought. It’s so well made and excellent quality.
I have had dogs for years but never yet encountered such high quality harnesses/coats. I now have an array of these products for my 3 dogs as I am so impressed with the high quality. I am often getting comments on how stylish/smart my dogs look in these harnesses/coats.

The best harness I’ve ever had!
My ten year old dachshund Pops had spinal surgery and the harness is supportive whilst still giving her full mobility. It’s easy to take off and put on and looks incredible. If you’re thinking about getting one for your pup, do it!

Not only does it look great but it doesn’t rub like others we’ve bought. It doesn’t pull on her neck and she’s so comfortable in it.
Ripley is such a fan she often doesn’t want to take it off and is happy to sleep with it on.
What can I say Wondercoat amazing from start to finish! From ordering Duke’s harness & lead I’ve been impressed with every step of the way. The quality, detail and fabric is amazing! I’ve tired so many harnesses and could never find the right fit or comfort for Duke, finally we’ve found the perfect harness!
