Wow I received mine yesterday. The seller recommend the size I needed for my dauchaund, and it fit her perfectly, it was super light and looked amazing on, definitely pleased I ordered this product. 😁
5* as always wish I would give more.. we’ve used the brand for almost a year now with my oldest mini dachshund we recently got another addition and we’ve used it since he’s been 13 weeks old. Slack lead the whole time, no pulling, or stressing -even when a girl got out her car with a small dachshund who went ballistic barking at Oscar, he continued walking without a backward glance! I wondered if I had swapped out dogs! I also wonder if he simply felt more secure.
Also felt I had more control with him in this harness than the other style I use and also greater than the slip-lead without the worry of potential choking which he is prone to doing when in unfamiliar places and nervous.
Back in, harness off, no signs of rubbing and a happy daxie and daxie mum!

I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the new harnesses. I ordered them for my miniature dachshunds Frank & Phineas.
Phineas had been suffering with his back and we were treating conservatively with medication, on the vets recommendation but by the 5.8 and after nearly four weeks of being careful I knew he wasn’t on the right path to recovery and in pain so rang the vets and asked for an MRI and referral which they did that afternoon and by 6.30pm that night I had an appointment with Fitzpatrick Referrals for the next morning. Phineas had an MRI where they found 70% of his spinal cord in one area was compressed. He had an operation that day to remove debris and fenestration of the disc.
I ordered the harnesses after reading about them whilst Phineas was still being cared for at Fitzpatrick’s and felt that they would be beneficial for both dogs.
Phineas has to have physiotherapy and the physio yesterday loved the harness – she said it’s like a second skin and perfect for Phineas during his recovery and it is suitable to be left on during the day while he is being crated 24/7 throughout the 6 week recovery period and to just take off at night.
So a big thank you from the dogs and me, a great looking harness and one that’s suitable for a dog recovering from IVDD too – a win win!

She has worn it for the first time during a trip to one of our lovely local beaches, Exmouth, Devon.
It fits beautifully and looks great too. Blossom ran around looking very happy and comfortable in it.
Have just purchased another one, this evening to ensure she has a clean harness as needed.

It’s so difficult trying to find harnesses that don’t rub behind the front legs, but this is perfect!
The ease of putting the harness on is really nice. Previously I’ve had to chase the sausage around the house to get her into the harness, but this one she just stands there and lets me put it on.

Purchased the Wondercoat Lite Harness for my miniature Daschund and it is a great harness. Super comfortable and as described light and love that it is British made. My miniature is very happy to wear this harness.

The quality is exquisite, excellent, superb and the lead too and love the orange florescent colour which will glow in the dark! I can see the workmanship is above and beyond the call of duty. So easy to slip on my boy. Vinnie is a rescue Dachshund, wary of change and was always a bit nervous when I was attempting to put on his old harness and press the clip button and he would sometimes squeak a bit as if I was hurting him. Your harness is lush and so easy just slip his front feet in and no buttons to click in fantastic. Still we know what Dacels are like hey but we love them. I shall definitely be looking at your site for some more quality goods and like I said I think I will need a summer harness and a winter harness to undertake his weight change between the seasons, just like us humans ha ha. Thank you Michela for your patience, understanding and guidance in that I was able to attain the correct harness size. What excellent customer service, Thank you, Michela, for your prompt attention. The harnesses I ordered were too small, but this has been resolved cheerfully and without fuss and a replacement will soon be winging its way to us. I am very impressed by the quality and fit and Darcey had a bit of a swagger when she modelled it this morning for the neighbours to admire. Nahla pretended she didn’t care that she had to wait for a new harness to arrive, but I saw the covetous glances she kept casting at her posh sister. The harnesses are very smart, stylish, and look comfortable. They are the best harnesses I’ve ever had for my girls, and since they have both had back/joint problems these harnesses are gently supportive of their delicate backs. I shall certainly be buying from Wondercoat again.

Just wanted to let you know the harnesses for my two mini dachshunds arrived today. I am really impressed with the quality & softness of these harnesses. So easy to put on too! My long haired, Lily, normally hates wearing a harness & goes as stiff as an ironing board & refuses to walk! But she was completely comfortable in her Harness Lite as soon as I put it on. Olive in her wondercoat. Olive the IVDD warrior who is winning against this horrible disease. i bought this at the beginning of her recovery and its been the absolute best, its saved so much faff, its not got the nasty clips that can catch thier skin, its sleek so comfortable for her, easy to keep clean, and lovely wide leg holes for ease of movement (which is needed when in recovery) also its so comfortable that she falls asleep in it !!! im so so HAPPY with this product, iv told you previously and wanted to tell you again. AMAZING i need another so i can alternate them xxx

Absolutely thrilled with the Wondercoat harness! After trying countless harnesses, nothing compares to the Wondercoat ones. It’s perfectly designed in every aspect — lightweight, secure, and incredibly comfortable for my dog. I especially love that it doesn’t need to go over the head (a total game changer), and once it’s on, it stays put — my dog has never managed to wriggle out of it.
The fit is amazing, with a slim, streamlined cut that doesn’t rub under the arms, which was a major issue with other brands. The materials are clearly high quality — soft, durable, and built to last. Plus, it’s stylish! The pop of orange is such a fun touch. It is beautifully made!
On top of that, the customer service is truly exceptional — friendly, responsive, and genuinely passionate about their product. They made the whole experience feel personal and easy, which is so rare these days.
Wondercoat is in a league of their own. I have multiple harnesses from them and I simply cannot highly recommend it enough!
Despite measuring my dog very carefully and going by the online size chart the harness was too small. I had to contact the company for the address to return it to as their company address is not on the website. I had to pay to return the harness and I was refunded for the harness cost but not the sellers postage costs. I understand that they are recovering their costs but as a result I spent £10.00 on delivery and return charges and have nothing to show for it. It will stop me ordering from them again sadly. Two stars given as I can see that the harness is well made, however it is over priced for the design and with no free delivery and no free returns it is way too expensive.

We received this last week for our girl sausage Kiki every harness we have previously bought has irritated her and rubbed on walks this is a game changer!! She’s now got a new lease of life when on a walk which is so nice to see i call it her sports bra she’s so happy now when walking and no more rubbing!!! Thanks so much will definitely recommend

This is our third harness from WonderCoat and we love it! It’s usually really hard to find a harness that fits him and won’t rub under this arms. He usually hops if something is bothering him like his jumpers but with harness lite, there was nearly no hopping!

I’m so pleased with my Harness Lite harnesses and identify tags, high quality product that fits like a glove. I’ve followed along on Instagram, but have wasted so much money on harnesses over the years that are a poor fit, I was hesitant to place an order and resigned to the fact I would always walk my dachshunds on collars. So glad I finally did, no regrets at all. Would highly recommend for any dog breed but in particularly dachshund owners.

At last! A perfect harness for Dachshunds!
What a fantastic harness Wondercoat is. After years of harnesses I haven’t been overly happy with, (I’ve tried soo many including the recommended ones for IVDD) My mini dachshund Frank ( IVDD warrior x 2) has finally got a harness that is comfortable, snug, no bulky buckles etc..We love it!
He just looks soo secure and comfy wearing it, his back seems super supported and the front leg room is fantastic for full range of motion. Well done on designing and producing such a great product (you now have a life long customer!)

We have struggled for over a year for a harness for my boy. He’s so small but has such a big chest. We have bought every harness you can think of (hasn’t been cheap) lol. We come across wondercoat when rue was just a pup but the way he was growing out of things we decided to wait until he was a little older. We recently tried a friends harness who had wondercoat as her boy had grown out of it. And it was perfect on the chest but the back was so small (due to his length) I finally gave up waiting and I’m so glad I did, I went and purchased Rues very own wondercoat harness it was delivered today and I can honestly say this is hands down the best harness I’ve ever purchased. It’s made so well, the colours are beautiful. It fits Rue like a glove. The team at wondercoat have made sure they have covered every avenue with these harness for chest size, length & most importantly to cause no rubbing under the arm pits. Rue really looks the part, can’t wait to try it later on our walk. My partner actually come home and says the harness is perfect and wishes we had bought sooner.

This is the best harness I’ve tried for my little sausage and I’ve tried loads! I didn’t think just velcro would be secure enough but there’s no way he could get out of it. The technology behind it is amazing. What I love most is that he seems to feel completely free/naked running around which is how I’ve always wanted him to feel, but I have the peace of mind knowing he’s super safe. Michele is so understanding and she helps whenever she can. If oyu have any queries, don’t hesitate to contact her – I would highly recommend her service and her products. I’ll be ordering another one soon to keep as a spare as I never want to be without one of these harnesses again. If you’re reading this, you really need to buy one! x

Well Olive received her new WonderCoat Lite yesterday, Olive was diagnosed with IVDD two weeks ago and were on the road of recovery. I ordered your harness as it was British Made and iv got to say WOW, so impressed!!! An easy no fuss harnesss thats strong and most importantly comfortable for Olive !!! She has alot more natural movement in it and its with ease i can get her in it and out quickly with no fuss, which is what i need at this time.
